Nolan P. Hathaway, M.D. earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Kalamazoo College (Michigan) in 2002, and his Doctorate of Medicine from Michigan State University in 2006. He is a member of multiple academic honor societies, including Alpha Omega Alpha. Internship and Ophthalmology residency were completed at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI, one of the largest and busiest hospitals in the nation. During this time, his research was published in Ophthalmology.
Dr. Hathaway became board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 2011, having passed the exam in the 95th percentile. He has practiced comprehensive ophthalmology since 2010, before joining the Northwest Eye Center. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Colorado Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
As an accomplished surgeon, Dr. Hathaway specializes in cataract surgery, and macular degeneration treatment, and treats glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. He also enjoys providing routine and preventive eyecare.
