Meet Dr. Clay Pennington
Clay Pennington, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract and refractive surgery as well as diagnosis and management of medical conditions affecting the eye including, but not limited to, glaucoma, dry eye, keratoconus, and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Pennington obtained his undergraduate degree in biological sciences and chemistry from Louisiana State University and his Medical Doctorate degree from the Medical College of Georgia. After completing a one-year internal medicine internship at his alma mater, he moved to New York City to train in ophthalmology at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Upon completion of his ophthalmology training in 2018, he moved to Denver with his family and has been in practice since. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
